Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Auto product team at Acko. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy. 

Join a fast-moving entrepreneurial team, with lots of cross-collaboration with other parts of the business such as marketing, customer experience, pricing, claims, operations, engineering, data science, design, and user research to bring your ideas to life. As a result, your work will touch millions of customers every day. 

As part of the product team, you will envision and execute (build products) the strategy that touches the end-to-end customer lifecycle (across acquisition, engagement, retention & re-engagement). 


1. Customer Insight 
  • Understands the importance of data in decision-making - ask the right questions from data to solve a complex problem 
  • Gather data from multiple sources (internal and external) to make educated product decisions 
  • Get user input to drive feature development and roadmap - whether it's talking to customers or doing user research Identify core gaps in user experience and recommend improvements to an existing user experience, with the designers 
  • Segment users and assess user journeys with one or more user segments in mind 
2. Product Strategy 
  • Clearly articulate and analyze business problems 
  • Come up with creative solutions to solve business and product problems independently 
  • Connect features to broader company goals and use them to drive product decisions, thereby delivering on expected business outcomes 
3. Product Execution 
  • Write feature PRDs and iterate on features with design and engineering input (e.g. to get to wireframe and to reduce scope), with a clear understanding of MVP and iterative development 
  • Clear communication explaining what a feature makes it successful 
  • Contextualizes how individual features help achieve larger business or company-level goals 
  • Understanding & negotiate trade-offs from an engineering perspective 
  • Clearly prioritize between features and reduce scope when required, to enable timely delivery of product roadmap 
  • Understands the importance of QA in the product development process and demonstrates experience in QAing products 
4. Stakeholder Management 
  • Successfully work with stakeholders from different backgrounds and understand their concerns, while demonstrating empathy for different points of view 
  • Communicate clearly and simply explain complex concepts Demonstrate ownership mentality and ability to think creatively with little input 
  • Proactively collect feedback and pivot approach accordingly, if required 

What You'll Need
  • 6-8 years of experience delivering successful and innovative customer-facing products with your fingerprints all over them
  • Experience defining the market and product requirements, working with engineering organizations to rapidly deliver high-impact capabilities to market
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling positioning/messaging strategies and present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Experience with end-to-end timely product delivery, as per product roadmap Hands-on experience with mobile and web application development.
  • You understand the nuances of building and scaling a mobile app, and all the intricacies that come with it You have experience working with OKRs and driving the planning process for a product
  • Experience working with UX researchers and designers to extract the best possible user experience designs for the mobile app
  • Customer obsession - The ability to take on complex product challenges and find elegant, simplifying solutions to avoid making them our user's and partners' problems
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to justify requirements, and features and drive the management of product
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically Collaborative working style.
